About
Taylor Robey (she/her) is a woodwind specialist and current band director in the Capital Region. Taylor is a sixth through twelfth grade band director who also directs the high school jazz band, both the middle school and high school musical and the student pit orchestra. She grew up a part of the Kingston High School Tiger Band in the Hudson Valley, serving as both a section leader and drum major. Most recently she joined the UAlbany staff for the 2025 summer band camp and was the front ensemble director for the Mohonasen High School Marching Band's fall 2025 season.
Outside of the marching world, Taylor serves on the board of the Northeast Instrumental Music Festival as the Student Band Co-Chair and plays annually in the Great American Community Band. She also actively plays in pit orchestras in the surrounding area.
Taylor is excited to be a part of this upcoming season and looking forward to making music with the Marching Great Danes!
