Overview
Funder seeks to support museum exhibitions, art education programs, scholarly publications and art history lectureships that complement the strengths of the Robert Lehman Collection at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and advance the goal of identifying the Foundation with serious scholarly and creative endeavors.

Grant portal opens in August.
For requests for a lecture series, the maximum request is $7,500
Process
This is a single step application process.
- Interested parties should immediately complete the SPA Proposal Request Form to be assigned a research administrator.
- The application will be managed by SPA, and you will work with your assigned research administrator
- All required information, in final form, needs to be submitted to SPA no later than five business days before submission deadline, Sept. 8, for final deadline of Sept. 15, 2026
