Organizational Structure of UAlbany’s Self-study
The Self-study process is managed by a steering committee, whose co-chairs and members are appointed by the University President.
The steering committee is comprised of committee leadership and subcommittees for each of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education’s seven Standards for Accreditation and Requirements of Affiliation.
Working groups will also be established, with representatives from across campus joining either by volunteering or invitation.
The working groups will consist of six to eight members for each of the seven standards, and include faculty, staff, members of the University Senate, graduate students and undergraduate students.
Lastly, there will be opportunities for the entire campus community to participate through town halls, open forums and other events.
