UAlbany Accreditation Self-study for Middle States

Ensuring Excellence at UAlbany

The University at Albany is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). We have now initiated the inclusive Self-study process required for reaccreditation, and this website will serve as a key resource for updates and public events.

This process ensures that the University continues to meet rigorous and comprehensive standards for an institution of higher education and supports ongoing institutional reflection and improvement. We encourage all members of the campus community to participate.

Please join us for an Open Session with our Middle States Liaison, Kristy Bishop. This event is open to all faculty, staff and students.  

During this event, our Liaison will explain the accreditation review cycle, discuss the role of faculty, staff and students in the accreditation process, and answer questions. All are welcome!
