Overview
The Quality of Life Grants Program supports nonprofit organizations that improve the lives of individuals living with paralysis and their families. The program funds initiatives that promote independence, inclusion, and community engagement. Grants are awarded across multiple tiers, with opportunities for both new and expanding projects.
Important Information
There are various tiers: Direct Effect (Tier 1, up to $24,999) and Priority Impact (Tiers 2-4, up to $50,000 depending on tier). Priorities include:
• Assistive Technology
• Disaster Preparedness
• Respite/Caregiving
• Rural Unserved and Underserved Populations
• Employment
• Nursing Home Transition
Process
This is a single step application process.
- Interested parties should immediately complete the SPA Proposal Request Form to be assigned a research administrator.
- The application will be managed by SPA, and you will work with your assigned research administrator.
- All required information, in final form, needs to be submitted to SPA no later than five business days before submission deadline.
