Phi Beta Kappa Celebrates 50 Years at UAlbany with New Inductees
Phi Beta Kappa at UAlbany celebrated its 50th anniversary on May 9 as it honored its newest members of undergraduate students who were welcomed into the society. This year’s new members include 46 students from UAlbany who are all members of the graduating class of 2024.

Great Danes Advance to NCAA Softball Tournament
The UAlbany softball team claimed a shutout victory in the America East championship on Saturday against UMass Lowell, earning the automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. The Great Danes are traveling to College Station, Texas, where they will square off in a regional against Penn State, Texas State and hosts Texas A&M.

UAlbany MFA Student Wins $7,000 Thayer Fellowship
Sean Desiree, a recent graduate of UAlbany’s MFA program in Studio Art, won a $7,000 Thayer Fellowship from the State University of New York to support their pursuit of a career in the arts.
