About

DaQuan Vidot was born and raised in Albany. He attended UAlbany and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in homeland security, cyber security and emergency preparedness in 2019.

DaQuan joined the Office of Access & Academic Enrichment in 2019 to oversee Project Excel (Student Support Services). In this role, he discovered a genuine passion for assisting historically underrepresented students, economically disadvantaged students and students with disabilities. Following his passion, he then pursed and obtain his master’s degree in Africana studies in 2022.

He now serves as Assistant Coordinator for STEP within the Minerva Center for High-Impact Practices, helping and assisting underrepresented students, economically disadvantaged students and students with disabilities.
