Annika Espino
Mysliborski Women’s Golf Scholarship recipient, Annika Espino understands the power of philanthropy. “Because of this scholarship, I was able to return to school. I wouldn’t be here without it,” she says.
In addition to giving her all on the UAlbany women’s golf team, Espino is a focused student. She excels in her Business School classes and plans to go on to get her MBA. Ultimately she would like to be a software or financial analyst. She credits Michelle Moshier with being her favorite UAlbany professor so far and was inspired by her financial accounting class.
Espino loves to spend time in the new campus center, studying or meeting up with friends. She is already thinking ahead about how to give back to the university after her time here and says, “I would love to make donations to the Athletic Department. Everyone deserves a chance for a better education.”
