Tracey Drew

Tracey Drew is a dedicated Professional Development Coordinator at the Center for Public Health Continuing Education (CPHCE) at the University at Albany College of Integrated Health Sciences. Tracey joined the CPHCE team in September 2024 to coordinate and support training efforts in collaboration with the Office of Public Health for the NYSDOH Public Health Infrastructure Grant.
With a rich background in professional development, Tracey previously managed workshops for the Research Foundation's Professional Development Program and facilitated the Public Service Workshop Program (PSWP) for New York State's Public Employees Federation (PEF) and Management Confidential (M/C) Employees. Her expertise spans professional writing, team building, decision making & critical thinking, and leadership development, delivered through in-person, blended-learning, and fully online training formats. Tracey has successfully connected PEF and M/C employees across New York State to valuable professional development opportunities, enhancing individual skills and promoting workforce development.
Tracey possesses extensive experience in planning and managing professional development initiatives within the Research Foundations for SUNY. Her public health interests include addressing health and social disparities, advancing public health workforce development, and fostering community participation and planning.
Tracey earned her bachelor's degree in Recreation & Leisure Studies from the State University of New York College at Cortland. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and outdoor activities, such as walking for fitness, skiing, and attending live music events.
