Chris Smith

Chris Smith joined CEHC in May 2023 as Interim Dean of Finance & Administration, where he oversees the college’s budgets, financial management and human resources.

Chris spent over 20 years at private companies in various corporate leadership roles. He managed a $26M international sales division, brought a software startup to profitability, and directed the operations of a fast-growing national franchise network. Chris is inspired by the intersection of technology and finance, creating opportunities for organizations to succeed and grow.

He earned a BM in Music Business from The Crane School of Music, SUNY Potsdam and an MBA in Marketing from UAlbany
