CURCE and the University at Albany offers Undergraduate students a variety of funding to support, advance, and recognize their engagement in research, scholarship, and creative activities.  We encourage you to promote the below opportunities to your students.


CURCE Accelerator Grants and Funding
Accelerator Grants: funding available for materials, services, and supplies, as well as for conference travel for students accepted to present their research at a local, regional, or national conference.

NEW for Fall 2019: CURCE is providing ALL undergraduate students with Professional Association Memberships for up to $100.

NEW for Fall 2019: Students presenting their research as part of coursework or at a conference can submit to have CURCE print their poster.

Situation Prize for Research: Open to all UAlbany undergraduates actively engaged in a research or creative project are eligible to apply for this student excellence award donated by Damian Bazadona '98.

Sorrell Chesin Research Award: Open to Juniors and Seniors engaged in faculty mentored research within the Life Sciences.  The award was established by Sorrell Chesin to encourage and recognize full-time undergraduate student participation in research.

Presidential Award for Undergraduate Research

Each spring semester, CURCE oversees the institutions application and nomination process for undergraduate students to receive the Presidential Award for Undergraduate Research.
