Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy, University at Albany, SUNY is hosting an Athenian Dialogue for the New York Municipal Clerks Institute (NYMCI) on Saturday, October 16th, 9:00am-3:30pm ET. The book is "It Worked For Me: In Life and Leadership" by Colin Powell, and the facilitator is Susan Haag, RMC MMC. The book must be purchased and read prior to the session.

The Athenian Dialogue will be offered online using Zoom. Cameras must remain on during the entire duration of the program. IIMC credit will not be given to those who do not maintain a camera connection.

Clerks seeking professional certification through the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) as well as other municipal officials seeking professional development are welcome to participate. Participants who actively contribute to the discussion and complete the necessary assignments by November 16th will receive three CMC or MMC Education points.

The deadline for registration is Friday, October 8th. Registration is limited to 24 participants, so please register as soon as possible.
