Dele Akindutire

Olumuyidele (Dele) Akindutire is the Science and Tech Entry Program (STEP) Coordinator. He was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. He has earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UAlbany. During his time at UAlbany, he had many roles that supported student life on campus. He was an administrative assistant for the student association office, a site supervisor for recreational sports, and a member of the advisory board for campus recreation, just to name a few.

As a first-generation college graduate, He understands the importance of higher education, the struggles that come with it and how crucial a support system is for students. As the Coordinator for the STEP Program, Dele hopes to make a positive impact to disadvantaged students seeking higher education.
