About the Speaker

Looking back on his journey from UAlbany, where he studied Computer Science and Physics, to his current position as VP of Engineering at The Huffington Post, Adam Denenberg ’98 shares some of the secrets he learned along the way on becoming a successful engineering leader. Denenberg worked as VP of Technology at ROO Media and SVP Technology, Collaborations and Multimedia at Thomson Reuters. Winner of a CODY award in 2008 and an Adobe Max award in 2009, Adam assembled a team, built, and successfully launched a whole new platform for Huffington Post Live.

 


Bunshaft Lecture

Established through the generosity of Albert Bunshaft ’80 and Caryn Bunshaft ’82, The Bunshaft Endowment in the College of Nanotechnology, Science, and Engineering provides support for this lecture, which is designed to provide information to the student community about a broad range of topics related to careers in computing and engineering sciences.
