Albany, N.Y. (August 21, 2023) - This weekend the College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity (CEHC) opened with a Sundaes on Sunday event to celebrate the beginning of the Fall semester.

The event took place at the ETEC porch filled with music, drones, corn hole, and of course ice cream! New and returning students, alumni, as well as faculty and staff all participated.

But this event wasn’t just about the celebration of the start of the semester. It was also about welcoming the new students to the CEHC family. A pinning ceremony took place where the current CEHC students gave pins to the new CEHC students with their class year.

“We want CEHC to feel like a family and we are so happy to welcome our new students to CEHC,” Dean Griffin said. “Most of all, we want you to enjoy the semester and have fun.”
