About

Lester Hadsell's first professional employment, as a twenty year old, was as a computer programmer. Soon afterward he began teaching evening computer programming classes at a community college and that experience provided the impetus to finish a Master’s degree and then a Doctorate and transition to teaching full-time. Since then he has taught a wide variety of courses for several colleges and universities, in-person and on-line. His research, primarily on wholesale electricity markets and economics/finance education, has appeared in numerous academic journals. He has served in several editorial capacities, including as a Consulting Editor for the Journal of Education for Business; reviewed submissions for more than a dozen academic journals; presented papers and served as a discussant at many conferences; and served on numerous school and university committees.
