About

Kait Gould received her BA in psychology and MS in school psychology from the University at Albany, State University of New York. She completed her PhD in school psychology at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, where she also completed requirements to become a BCBA-D.

Following graduation, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine where she provided support to parents and their children engaging in harmful behaviors.

More recently, Dr. Gould was a Research Scientist with the May Institute/National Autism Center and an Assistant Professor School Psychology at the College of Saint Rose. She currently teaches the Graduate Certificate Program in Autism sequence through the University at Albany.

Dr. Gould is a licensed psychologist in New York State and has expertise in school consultation and intervention focused on behavior support, skill acquisition, and improved quality of life for children and their families. Her research is focused on intervention outcomes and self-determination.
