Reagan Boera
Reagan Boera is a senior double majoring in Human Development and Psychology. She was accepted into the CAS School Psychology graduate program last spring here at UAlbany. Reagan is interested in the effects discrimination and biases have on systems and the individuals functioning in those systems. She is also on the Middle Earth Crisis Hotline, through which she provides short-term crisis intervention to the Albany community. In her free time, Reagan enjoys reading and exploring the Capital Region.
Tayia Boyd
Tayia is a recent Albany graduate with a Bachelor's in Psychology and a minor in Legal Studies, that is currently volunteering at the lab. She is hoping to get a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology and a PhD in Clinical Psychology. While she is unsure exactly where she wants to work in the future, Tayia thinks working in a federal agency would be the place she can thrive the most. Tayia is interested in psychology and how it intersects with the law and criminal offenses. She spends her free time with the Klosure dance team.
Ee Farh
Ee Farh is a senior double majoring in Psychology and Globalization Studies with a minor in economics. She plans to take a year off after graduation before applying for graduate programs. Some of Ee's interests include international development, social or forensic psychology and would like to ideally find an intersection between the fields of psychology and global affairs. Outside of the lab Ee is a peer advisor with the academic support center; the programming chair for UAlbany's Planned Parenthood Generation; and a member of UAlbany Dance Council. She also enjoys reading in her down time.
Persia Jgin
Persia Jgin is an enigmatic mind voyager who is in pursuit of decoding the complexities of the human mind. At the University at Albany, she majors in Psychology with a Criminal Justice minor. With a love for mental health and sarcasm that adds spice to her conversations, she envisions a career with a PhD in Counseling psychology, and a master's degree in Forensic psychology. While she finds peace in reading, and indulges in crime documentaries and horror movies, taking inspiration from the dark corners of the human experience, her lenses tell a different tale - capturing the beauty of people and places. Beyond academia and the camera, she is a culinary and avid explorer, seeking to take in the rich tapestry of diverse cultures.
Sharon Josephs
Sharon Josephs is a Junior majoring in psychology with a minor in education. Sharon has always loved psychology and has an interest in how psychology and the law work together. She would like to study forensic psychology and get a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Her plan is to work with the incarcerated population, but she also enjoys working with children. Sharon's hobbies include reading and embroidery and she is currently the president of the book club on campus.
Daniel Nisoff
Daniel Nisoff is an undergraduate student at University at Albany, SUNY, double majoring in Psychology and Human Development with a Counseling concentration. He is planning to apply to UAlbany's combined program and earn an MS in Mental Health Counseling, as well as get his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Daniel is interested in the effects of ostracization on mental illness. When away from scholastic duties, he likes collecting records and playing chess.
Sarah Smith
Sarah Smith is a recent UAlbany graduate who majored in Psychology and minored in Sociology and Korean studies. She has always been fascinated by psychology due to its ever-evolving nature as more information is discovered. Two of their favorite fields of psychology are social psychology and clinical psychology and thus she aspires to get their PhD in social or clinical psychology. She is currently enrolled in SNHU’s MA psychology program as a stepping stone to that goal. Besides their fascination with psychology, she has various hobbies such as drawing, reading, and Japanese sword.
Eddy Suljic
Eddy Suljic is a junior at UAlbany majoring in Psychology and minoring in Neuroscience and Criminal Justice. He plans on applying to Ph.D. programs right after his undergraduate studies and is considering JD/PhD programs that combine his two academic passions. He hopes to work in the Forensic/Criminal psychology field while also teaching at a university, as one of his other passions is showing people what he loves. This passion translates into his personal life as he spends most of his free time listening to music and playing it for others on-air as a DJ and Training director at UAlbany’s student-run radio, WCDB.
Jessie Yuan
Jessie hopes to make a meaningful difference in the world by helping people reach their potential, whether on an individual or systems level, through leadership, research, and counseling. She is an undergraduate student of psychology minoring in educational studies. She plans to pursue a Master of Clinical Social Work, followed by a PhD in Counseling Psychology. Beyond assisting at PULSE, Jessie is a research assistant at ADRP, Middle Earth Crisis Hotline worker, and president of the UA Tango Club. They also enjoy journaling, arts and crafts, and skating.
