Call for Abstracts: New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute's 2021 Ending the Epidemic (ETE) Summit

The New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute's 2021 Ending the Epidemic (ETE) Summit and the 23rd Annual World AIDS Day (WAD) commemoration will be held virtually again this year. The events will take place on November 30th, December 1st & 2nd, 2021. All virtual ETE Summit and WAD activities will be available and free for all attendees.

The theme for this year’s ETE Summit and WAD events is "Overcoming Pandemics | ETE and COVID-19", with a tagline "From the Ground Up: Over 40 years of Public Health."  It is the goal to highlight many of the important stories and testimonies of determination, courage, hope, and progress that New Yorkers continue to demonstrate each day, despite the many challenges 2020 and 2021 presented.

Responses to the Call for Abstracts will be used to identify presenters for this year’s ETE Summit. Abstracts will be accepted from now through July 30, 2021 at 11:59 pm EST. The ETE Summit is an opportunity to share with stakeholders the important work being done through New York State to end the epidemic and to hear from the leaders in the field!
