Sally D’Alessandro

As the Assistant Dean of Students for Supplemental Support Services, Sally is responsible for oversight of the Purple Pantry, UAlbany’s on-campus food pantry, and Purple Threads, our professional clothing closet for students. She also administers the Student Emergency Fund and oversees Veteran & Military Student Services.   

Sally holds a master’s degree in history and a Master of Social Work (LMSW) degree from UAlbany. She is currently working toward licensure as a clinical social worker. 

During her nearly 25 years of UAlbany service, Sally has held several different positions within Residential Life, and the Dean of Students Office, previously serving as Associate Director of Student Conduct and the director of Student CARE Services.
