Eva Rojas

Eva Rojas is the Assistant Dean of Disability Access & Inclusion Student Services (DAISS). 

Eva is passionate about supporting students and ensuring they have equal opportunity and access to education. Eva graduated from John Jay College and has over 20 years of experience working with students and families with disabilities. 

Eva is committed to working with students, families and faculty to create a learning community where individuals with disabilities can pursue their educational goals. Eva fosters independent advocacy and learning through a strengths-based approach and by working closely with UAlbany faculty to provide structure and supportive resources for students registered with DAISS. 

Eva maintains respect for all individuals regardless of their disabilities. She is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters, one who has a severe disability diagnosis. Eva’s personal journey with disability awareness and advocacy has fueled her determination to serve students with disabilities.
