Safe and Together Training Evaluation

The Center for Human Services Research is conducting an evaluation of Safe and Together trainings for child welfare professionals. This child-centered model of improving child welfare services provides workers with methods for managing complicated child welfare cases in ways that support the safety and well-being of children while addressing domestic violence.

Evaluation & Research

Our evaluation will consist of a review of case records completed by program participants. A pre-post analysis will be used to determine whether there are changes in the actions and case management of individuals who received training through the program. The record review will allow us to identify changes in how individual staff members recorded data, handled client situations, and made recommendations or referrals after receiving Safe and Together training.
