Garden Reception & 12th Annual Initiatives For Women Summer Celebration

President Kermit Hall and his wife hosted a garden reception at the President's Residence on Wednesday, July 20th for the 2005 IFW award recipients, IFW donors and volunteers. The next day, he shared with Initiatives For Women and presented recipients with their awards at the annual Summer Celebration.

2005 Winter Forum: Timeless Milestones: Revisiting IFW's Past, Present and Future

On Thursday, March 10, 2005, Initiatives For Women hosted its annual Winter Forum. This event, featured a panel of past IFW award recipients who discussed how their award aided them in making their dream a reality.


11th Annual Initiatives For Women Summer Celebration

On June 29, 2004 in the University's Campus Center, IFW celebrated its 11th round of award recipients and honored Karen R. Hitchcock for her years of dedication to the organization.


2004 Winter Forum: Tech Valley: Not Just Bits & Bytes

On Thursday, March 4, 2004, Initiatives For Women again partnered with the Alliance for Technology and Women (ATW) to sponsor the 2004 Winter Forum. This year's forum featured local, professional business women who have seen how technology has changed the Albany landscape. Among the panel members are University at Albany CIO, Christine Haile; COO of Valogix, Patricia Ludwig; and President and COO of BioDiesel, Carina Ramirez. The evening also included a special performance by the UAlbany female acapella group Serendipity.


Mother's Day Campaign

"Make a donation to honor your mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, wife, aunt or any special woman in your life." The honoree received a Mother's Day card informing her that a contribution to the fund has been made in her name by you. In addition, her name and yours was added to the Honoring Our Mothers list of honorees and donors on the IFW web site.
