About
Xiaoyang Shi received his PhD in Earth and Environmental Engineering at Columbia University. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental and Sustainable Engineering at the University of Albany.
Research Interests:
Dr. Shi's research focuses on emerging fields of carbon management for fixing the climate, with an emphasis on the underlying chemistry and nanoscience that can advance Direct Air Capture of CO2, CO2 conversion to synthetic fuel, and novel materials discovery for energy and environmental applications.
Dr. Shi is actively seeking prospective Ph.D. students and postdoctoral research fellows.
