This microcredential focuses on leadership development, with an emphasis on how to manage your strengths and leadership style, and best practices for leading organizations, including understanding emotional intelligence, developing effective teams, communicating clearly and using a coaching approach.
About the Program
In today’s fast paced professional environments, leaders and managers at all levels need to further hone their leadership awareness, emotional intelligence, team building, communication and coaching skills. For leaders genuinely looking to engage employees, clarity, consistency, coaching and credibility are the foundation of successful employee engagement programs.
In this intensive 15-hour, six session, cohort-based online academy, you will learn to identify and apply your strengths and authentic leadership style, as well as develop strategies for leading within organizations.
What to Expect
This learning format is a mix of interactive online sessions, short readings and videos, and short written reflections. You will also discuss strategies with your fellow learners as a full cohort and in small breakout groups. At the end of each module, you will create a short reflection on how you plan to apply your new skills in your current organizational setting.
