Biography:

Oscar Williams has conducted research in several areas, including 19th and 20th Century African American history, antebellum slavery, and African American intellectual history.

He is author of the book Portrait of a Black Conservative: George S. Schuyler. He has lectured on the topic of Black History Month and issues in black history at the University.
