Professor Ronald Berger's research interests include the Salem witch trials and witchcraft, early modern Britain and the history of economics. He is the author of The Most Necessary Luxuries. The Mercers' Company of Coventry, 1550-1680 (Penn State University Press, 1993) and several articles published in the Journal of Economic History and The New York Times. Berger is a member of the Economic History Association, New York State Association of European Historians and the Social Science History Association.
