Biography:
Stephen F. Bush is a researcher in Algorithmic Communications Network Theory. He studies complexity and algorithmic information theory. His research ranges from network management and wireless ad hoc networking to RNA sequence analyses and nanotechnology-based networking. Bush received a Gold Cup Trophy Award from Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency for his work in fault tolerant networking. He co-authored a book on active network management, Active Networks and Active Network Management: A Proactive Management Framework, published by Kluwer Academic Publishers. Before joining GE Global Research, Bush was a researcher at the Information and Telecommunications Technologies Center (ITTC) at the University of Kansas.
