Kristi McClamroch specializes in the study of sexually transmitted infections, including HIV, both in the U.S. and in several developing countries. Her focus is on developing sexually transmitted infections (STI) treatment guidelines for sex workers. She has worked in Madagascar, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Haiti. McClamroch received her bachelor's degree in mathematics and master of public health degree in epidemiology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She received her doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2004).
