Biography:
Associate Professor Rachel Cohon's research interests include ethics, the philosophy of action, and the history of ethics. She is author of Hume's Morality: Feeling and Fabrication (Oxford University, 2008) and several articles on normative reasons for action and David Hume's moral and political philosophy. Her interests also include applied ethics. She is author of Disability: Ethical and Social Issues in the Encyclopedia of Bioethics (2003). She received her Ph.D in philosophy from UCLA.
