Applying For Housing

This information is for newly admitted University at Albany Students.

Welcome to Residential Life at the University at Albany! All new incoming students must submit a housing application in order to be placed on campus.

Filling out Your Housing Application

The housing application will be available once you receive your welcome post card in the mail. Please keep an eye on your mailbox.
Note: International Students will not receive a welcome post card in the mail. If you are having issues, please contact reslife@albany.edu and include your name and UAlbany ID number.

Housing assignments are determined by your housing application date of receipt. This includes any special interest housing request, and/or roommate requests.
Students must also make a $125 deposit for on campus housing.
Please note: Not all roommate requests can be accommodated.
