Flu Self Management and Respiratory Symptom Guidance
Most respiratory symptoms of recent onset are viral and can be managed without a physician evaluation. Please review the guidelines below for advice.
For guidance with nasal congestion (runny/stuffy nose), cough, sore throat:
If your measured temperature is 100.0 or higher (fever) in the past 12 hours, please click here.
If your measured temperature is less than 100.0 (no fever) consider seeking care at the Health Center if you have:
1. Shortness of Breath
2. Respiratory symptoms > 10-14 days
3. Severe sore throat > 3 days
