Wintersession 2015 will begin Friday, December 19, 2014 and run through Monday, January 19, 2015. All Wintersession courses are fully online delivered in Blackboard 9.1 and accessible via the Internet. Advance registration begins Wednesday, October 15.

The Office of General Studies and Summer Sessions will be closed Monday, December 23, through Wednesday, January 1, for the university-wide 2013/14 Intersession Energy Savings Initiative. Regular business hours will resume on Thursday, January 2.

Students enrolled in fully online courses at the University at Albany being delivered through Blackboard 9.1 (Bb9.1), please review these instructions for getting started with your Winter Session 2013-14 online courses.
If you added yourself to a wait list via the Automated WaitList Process in MyUAlbany, you may have been successfully moved from the waitlist and enrolled in a class for wintersession. To confirm if you have been enrolled or not, please log into MyUAlbany and view your class schedule. If you were enrolled and do not wish to take the class, you must drop it from your schedule by Monday, December 24, to avoid financial liability. View the Wintersession 2013 Academic Calendar for deadlines on dropping, adding and course tuition liability.
ITS will be finalizing an upgrade to the University network on Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 8:00 AM – 12:00 Noon. All campus IT services are expected to be available during this timeframe. In the unlikely event of a service disruption, personnel will be on site to address any problems.
