Happy Students

Welcome to the University Counseling Center Web Page!

Here, you’ll be able to learn about what services we offer for students, parents, and faculty & staff. You will also learn about common student concerns and be able to take any of our anonymous online self-assessments. Additionally, you can learn abut our very popular peer service programs called Middle Earth and Project SHAPE: Sexual Health and Peer Education.

Students and professor

Here are a few of the caring, highly trained counselors at the Center.

As you explore our web site...

Please remember that written information is not a substitute for a face-to-face contact with a professional. If you feel that you have a concern that you may want to discuss with one of our staff members, do not hesitate to contact us.

If you are not a University at Albany student, faculty or staff member, parent, or alumni, please contact your campus counseling center or local mental health association for additional help or information; in the event of a mental health emergency, contact the nearest hospital emergency department.
