Student Athlete Campaign
Student athletes are often stereotyped by peers, even if those peers are athletes themselves. As part of our Social Norms Campaign aimed at correcting misperceptions, we have choosen to feature our UAlbany Athletes. In particular, the Student Athlete Campaign celebrates athlete health, pride, and purpose.

[-] How are UAlbany Athletes surveyed?
UAlbany athletic teams complete an anonymous health survey each spring. The survey is administered by staff from the University Counseling Center and is given at the Department of Athletics and Recreation. The annual spring survey is representative of all UAlbany student athletes across class year, gender, and race.
While students completed the survey by team, they were instructed to not indicate their team membership anywhere on the survey. Once the surveys were collected, they were mixed together with surveys from other teams so that no surveys could be connected with any team.
