University Auxiliary Services (UAS) provides a variety of services to enhance campus life for University at Albany students, faculty, staff, alumni and guests.

UAS currently has one position available:

Marketing and New Media Manager

University Auxiliary Services at Albany, Inc.​ (UAS) is seeking an experienced candidate for the Marketing and New Media Manager position.​ This position will support the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications across functional areas.​  Job responsibilities include web development, digital content creation, social media propagation and engaged conversation, graphic design, creative and journalistic writing, copy proof reading and project management.​

 

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree and three years of experience in marketing, multimedia and/​or online communications, preferably in the higher education, nonprofit or food service sector.​   Relevant work experience and an Associate’s Degree may be substituted for the four year degree requirement.​  Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).​  In addition, the applicant must be able to work individually and as a member of a team, possess strong communication and troubleshooting skills, have the ability to interact with a diverse population, and be able to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment.​ A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel efficiently around large and multiple campuses is essential.​
