Getting your SUNYCard is easy

Incoming Freshmen and Transfer Students will receive their SUNYCards during Orientation (Please make sure you bring photo ID with you!) For all other students: Register for classes Go to the SUNYCard Office, Campus Center B52, with a photo ID (driver's license, passport, old school ID, etc.) Have your photo taken at the SUNYCard Office, and you will receive your card before you leave.

Lost, Stolen or Damaged SUNYCards

Because your SUNYCard provides you with so much on & off campus access (residence halls, Podium account, meal plan), you are responsible for ensuring that your SUNYCard is secure. If you lose your card or it is stolen, you must file a report immediately. Available to you 24 / 7 PodiumNet - Logon to immediately deactivate your card Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Summer Hours) In Person: SUNYCard Office, CC B52 By Phone: 518-442-5989 Monday - Friday After 4:30 PM (4:00 PM, Summer Hours) Contact the University Police at 518-442-3130 (You will receive a temporary card valid for that evening only, your old card will be invalidated to protect you against theft or misuse) You must go to the SUNYCard Office the following day in order to obtain a new card Weekends Contact the University Police at 518-442-3130 (You will receive a temporary card valid for that weekend only, your old card will be invalidated to protect you against theft or misuse) You must go to the SUNYCard Office on Monday morning in order to obtain a new card Please Note: You will not be refunded for funds fraudulently used on your SUNYCard You will be charged $20 to replace a LOST SUNYCard, but there is no charge to replace a card damaged through normal wear & tear (if it cracks, the magnetic stripe becomes scratched, etc.) In order to qualify for a replacement at no charge, you must bring all pieces of the broken (and currently active) card with you to the SUNYCard Office SUNYCards are non-transferrable

Replacement of Broken or Damaged Cards
