Sick Meals
Complementary take away "Sick Meals" are available for students with a contagious illness who live on a residential quad and have a meal plan. Take away meals can be obtained in any of the five residential quad dining rooms.
The Sick Meal will contain:
- Tea bags
- Dry soup mix
- A container of jello
The process for obtaining a Sick Meal:
- Ask a friend to go to the cashier's station at one of the dining rooms
- Your friend will need to show their SUNYCard and the SUNYCard of the ill student to the cashier
- Your friend will also need to complete the "Sick Meal Log" at the cashier station
- No meals or Munch Money will be deducted from the meal plans of the sick student or the person picking up the meal
A full take-away meal is also available and will contain:
- One entree / sandwich
- One side dish
- A beverage
- Dessert
The process for obtaining a full take-away meal:
- Provide a written authorization of use of your SUNYCard by a friend who can obtain your meal for you
- Provide a list of food and beverage items which are available in the dining room that you would like included in your full take-away meal (see menus for list of foods and beverages)
- Your friend will need to provide the dining room cashier with their SUNYCard and the SUNYCard of the ill student
- Your friend will also need to complete the "Sick Meal Log" at the cashier station
- The meal will be deducted from the ill student's meal plan
