Munch Money

Munch Money is a declining balance (debit) account that is built into your meal plan. With Munch Money it is easy to purchase food and beverages, add more Munch Money when needed, and track your Munch Money balance.

Advantages of Munch Money
Munch Money can be used to buy meals, snacks and beverages in the Campus Center dining locations, the Patroon Room, Downtown Cafe, Commons Cafe, in the residential quad dining rooms, and for purchases in vending machines.

Each time you make a purchase, the amount is deducted from your Munch Money balance. In addition, because Munch Money is a part of your Meal Plan, you are not charged New York State salestax on your purchases, saving you 8%.

• Add Munch Money - Online, or at the SUNYCard Office with cash, check or charge
• Check your Munch Money Balance - Online, at dining location cash registers, in the SUNYCard Office and at vending machines throughout campus.

If you are planning to study abroad the following semester, you must contact the SUNYCard Office so that your Munch Money account can be put on hold until your return.

If you have a Munch Money balance remaining at the end of the semester, it will remain on your SUNYCard as long as you are enrolled for class(es) for the following semester.
