Munch Money
Important Notice: Beginning with the 2013-2014 school year, Munch Money will carry over from the summer to the fall and the fall to the spring semester, but not to the following academic year. Any Munch Money remaining at the end of the spring semester will be forfeited.
Advantages of Munch Money
Munch Money can be used to buy meals, snacks and beverages in the Campus Center dining locations, the Patroon Room, Downtown Cafe, Commons Cafe, in the residential quad dining rooms, and for purchases in vending machines.
Each time you make a purchase, the amount is deducted from your Munch Money balance. In addition, because Munch Money is a part of your Meal Plan, you are not charged New York State salestax on your purchases, saving you 8%.
- Add Munch Money - Online, or at the SUNYCard Office with cash, check or charge
- Check your Munch Money Balance - Online, at dining location cash registers, in the SUNYCard Office and at vending machines throughout campus.
If you are planning to study abroad the following semester, you must contact the SUNYCard Office so that your Munch Money account can be put on hold until your return.
Munch Money balances that remain at the end of the spring 2013 semester will roll over to the summer 2013 semester and to the fall 2013 semester for all enrolled students.
