Advantages of Munch Money |
- Munch Money can be used to buy additional meals, snacks and beverages in the Campus Center dining locations, the Patroon Room,
Nano Cafe, Downtown Cafe, Commons Cafe or East Campus Cafe; in vending machines from 11 PM - 7 AM; and in the five residence
dining halls.
- Munch Money is easy to use, add funds & track balances. Each
time you make a purchase, the amount is subtracted from your
Munch Money balance.

To Check Your Munch Money Balance |
- Sign-Up: We'll email you if the balance drops below $10

- On-Line: For balance info and statements, sign up at PodiumNet
- Campus Dining Services: The cashier should be able to provide you with your Munch Money or Podium balance . . . just ask!
- Vending Machines: The balance displayed at the end of the transaction is the total of all Munch Money and/or Podium available on your account.
- Library Value Adding Stations & Copier Readers: Show Podium balances only
- The SUNYCard Office: We can't give balances out over the phone for security reasons, but are happy to assist you in the SUNYCard Office!

- Munch Money carries over from semester to semester and year to year, as long as you are a registered student and purchase a meal plan for each semester. If you do not sign up for a meal plan each semester, the balance will be forfeited and there are no refunds.
- If you are planning to study abroad for a semester, you must contact the SUNYCard Office so that your Munch Money account can be put on hold until your return.
- When you make purchases from vending machines by swiping your SUNYCard between 11 PM and 7 AM, the system will deduct money from your Munch Money account. The system will only deduct money from your Podium Account during this timeperiod if you have no Munch Money.
- Vending purchases can be made with your Podium Account 24/7
