Commuter and Apartment Meal Plans 2012-2013

 

Students living on Freedom, Empire, Liberty Terrace or off campus may choose from any of our six meal plans.

1. The Unlimited Meal Plan

  • This plan provides you with unlimited access to our all-you-care-to-eat residential dining rooms which feature a variety of food and beverage items including soups, salads, sandwiches, entree items, desserts, etc.. You can go in and out of the dining room as many times as you'd like, for a full meal, a snack, or even for a cup of coffee and a cookie while you "hang out" and study or connect with friends.
  • In addition, you have one Meal Trade per day, or a meal swipe that can be "traded" for a combination of food items in most Campus Center dining locations or at late night take-out locations in residential dining rooms.
  • This meal plan also comes with $210 of Munch Money which can be used for tax-free purchases:
    1. At Campus Center dining locations, the Patroon Room, the Downtown Cafe or residential dining rooms
    2. At vending machines 
  • Cost: $$2,150.00

 2. The 175 Meal Plan

  • This plan provides 175 meals per semester, or approximately 11 meals per week.
  • Any of the 175 meals can be used in the all-you-care-to-eat residential dining rooms or as Meal Trades in the Campus Center locations. This plan may be a better choice for you if you prefer the flexibility of using more meals in the Campus Center dining venues, tend to eat one to two meals on campus a day, or are often off campus on weekends.
  • This meal plan also comes with $225 of Munch Money which can be used for tax-free purchases:  
    1. At Campus Center dining locations, the Patroon Room, the Downtown Cafe or the residential dining rooms
    2. At vending machines
  •  Cost: $1,999.00

 3. The 120 Meal Plan

  • This plan provides 120 meals per semester, or approximately 8 meals per week.
  • This plan is specifically designed for upper classmen that have off-campus commitments and more transportation options.
  • Any of the 120 meals can be used in the all-you-care-to-eat residential dining rooms or as Meal Trades in the Campus Center locations.
  • This plan may be a better choice for you if you plan to eat one meal per day on campus.
  • This meal plan also comes with $400 of Munch Money which can be used for tax-free purchases:
    1. At Campus Center dining locations, the Patroon Room, the Downtown Cafe or the residential dining rooms
    2. At vending machines
  •  Cost: $1,787.00

 4. The Apartment / Commuter 50 Meal Plan

  • This plan provides 50 meals per semester, or approximately 3 meals per week.
  • Any of the 50 meals can be used in the all-you-care-to-eat residential dining rooms or as Meal Trades in the Campus Center locations.
  • This plan may be a better choice for you if you are often off campus and would like the convenience of occasional meals on campus, the included Munch Money also allows flexibility for purchasing grab-and-go, take-out, snacks and beverage items.
  • Your meal plan also comes with $225 of Munch Money which can be used for tax-free purchases:
  1. At Campus Center dining locations, the Patroon Room, the Downtown Cafe or the residential dining rooms
  2. At vending machines 
  • Cost: $650.00

 5. The Apartment / Commuter 30 Meal Plan

  • This plan provides 30 meals per semester, or approximately 2 meals per week.
  • Any of the 30 meals can be used in the all-you-care-to-eat residential dining rooms or as Meal Trades in the Campus Center locations.
  • This plan may be a better choice for you if you are often off campus and only need occasional meals on campus, also the larger amount of Munch Money allows great flexibility for purchasing grab-and-go, take-out, snacks and beverage items.
  • Your meal plan also comes with $395 of Munch Money which can be used for tax-free purchases: 
    1. At Campus Center dining locations, the Patroon Room, the Downtown Cafe or the residential dining rooms
    2. At vending machines
  •  Cost: $650.00

 6. The Apartment / Commuter Meal Plan

  • The Commuter Meal Plan is exclusively a Munch Money plan (declining balance), which allows you to make tax-free purchases in dining locations and in vending machines.
  • The plan can be used to purchase meals in the all-you-care-to-eat residential dining rooms, the Patroon Room and the Downtown Cafe; or for purchasing food items in Campus Center locations.
  • This plan may be a better choice for you if you are often off campus and would like the convenience of occasional meals on campus, the declining balance account allows maximum flexibility for purchasing grab-and-go, take-out, snacks,beverages and convenience items.
  • The minimum buy-in amount is $25, and you can receive bonus Munch Money for higher purchase amounts (at no additional charge): $25 to $249.00: $0 Bonus Munch Money

                $250 to $449.99: $15 Bonus Munch Money             
                $450 to $649.99: $30 Bonus Munch Money
                $650+: $50 Bonus Munch Money
