Faculty & Staff Dining Plans

The Faculty & Staff Dining Plan (FS Plan) is a convenient way for faculty and staff members to purchase meals and food items in the all-you-care-to-eat dining rooms, the Patroon Room, Campus Center locations and the Downtown Cafe.

The FS Plan is a declining balance account and purchase amounts are subtracted from the FS Plan balance when you swipe your SUNYCard at dining locations. The Faculty & Staff Plan is not a meal plan and does not qualify for tax exempt status according to New York State tax laws, you will pay tax on your purchases with this plan.

10% Discount for Retail Dining
With your Faculty & Staff Dining Plan you will receive a 10% discount on purchases at the following locations:

• Blue Agave
• Commons Deli
• Haagen Dazs
• Olo Sushi
• Outtakes Quick Cuisine
• The Patroon Room
• Rosso Verde
• Suppa
• Zepps
• The Downtown Café

Discounted Meal Price for Residential Dining
With your Faculty & Staff Dining Plan you can purchase meals for you and your guests in the all-you-care-to-eat dining rooms at a discounted meal price of $6.00 plus tax (a savings of up to $3.75 per meal).  Your SUNYCard will be programmed to allow you to enter the dining rooms during dining hours in the following locations:

• Alumni Quad Dining Room (Please use Waterbury East entrance to Alumni Quad)
• Colonial Quad Dining Room
• Dutch Quad Dining Room
• Indian Quad Dining Room
• State Quad Dining Room

Purchasing your Faculty & Staff Dining Plan
The minimum purchase price is $50. Sign up or add to your plan balance in person at the SUNYCard office or online.

Please Note:

• 10% discounts do not apply at the following locations: The Fountain Grill, The Outtakes Store, Tim Hortons or Wendy’s
• The $6.00 (plus tax) meal price does not apply to special dinners, please check Dining Services regarding special dinner dates
• Your Faculty & Staff Dining Plan balance will carry over from semester-to-semester, until it is completely depleted or until you leave the University
• There are no refunds
• If you currently have a Faculty & Staff Dining Plan with a remaining balance, the funds will roll into the new plan

Summer Use of Faculty & Staff Dining Plans
You may also use your Faculty & Staff Dining Plans during the summer. This Summer you can use your Faculty & Staff Dining Plan to Purchase discounted all-you-care-to-eat meals ($6.00 plus tax) at the Commons Deli / Blue Agave. Hours of operation and dates available vary by location, please be sure to check “What’s Open & When” for the most accurate information.
