ASDAC Accomplishments

What ASDAC does:

  • Reviews and provides menu suggestions
  • Conducts Mystery Shop surveys to obtain feedback on quality of services
  • Assists in the evaluation of proposed future meal plans
  • Reviews hours of operations for all dining venues
  • Monitors food and service quality
  • Advises on marketing
  • Provides feedback and suggestions for facilityrenovations
  • Supports and contributes to University events

What ASDAC has accomplished:

  • Cheese is now offered at no extra cost at Zepps
  • 8" sub rolls have been reinstituted at Zepps for the same price as other breads
  • Reinstituted hot breakfasts in all dining rooms
  • Brought Green Mountain coffee to all dining rooms
  • Created a vegetarian focus group to evaluate available options
  • Suggested longer hours of operation for Friday and Saturday in the Campus Center
  • Initiated white boards in all of the dining halls to provide space for immediate student feedback
  • Helps to fundraise annually for the Northeastern Regional Food Bank's Holiday Hunger Appeal
