Mission Statement

The mission of the Human Resources department within the Division of Finance and Administration is to support the Academic, Research and Service goals of the University by providing services that promote a work environment that is characterized by fair treatment of staff; open communications; personal accountability; trust and mutual respect; to develop, implement and support programs and processes that add value to UAlbany and its employees, leading to improved employee welfare, empowerment, growth and retention. We will seek and provide solutions to workplace issues that support and optimize the principles of the University.
