Traditional Quad Meal Plans 2012-2013
Students who live in traditional residential quads are required to have meal plans.
- Freshman - newly assigned to a residence hall will automatically be assigned to the Unlimited Meal plan and can change to the 175 Meal Plan.
- Non Freshman - newly assigned to a residence hall will automatically be assigned to the 175 Plan and can change to the 120 Plan or the Unlimited Plan.

- Changes can be made through the 10th day after the start of the semester (September 10, 2012 for the fall semester). Students can change their meal plan on MyUAlbany or in person at the SUNYCard Office.
- Unused Semester Meal Swipes do not carry over to the next semester.
- Munch Money balances that remain at the end of each semester roll over for all students who continue to be enrolled at UAlbany regardless of on campus occupancy or meal plan re-purchase.
- If a resident student living in traditional housing is unassigned from housing, the meal plan will be immediately removed and the meal plan refund policy applies.
*According to NY State Tax Law, meals and meal trades are to be used only by the owner of the meal plan and cannot be used to purchase guest meals.
