Important Information About Anticipated Financial Aid not Listed on Invoices and UAPP
Q1: What should I do if the anticipated aid reflected on my invoice is less than what I was expecting?
A1: Our new invoices should be viewed in conjunction with the financial aid you accepted on your on-line MyUAlbany account. If you believe the anticipated aid reflected on your invoice is less than the amount of aid you accepted, please review your "TO DO" items on MyUAlbany. You will need to complete all outstanding items (e-mpn, entrance interview, etc.) in order to see anticipated financial aid for your loans. If you have only recently completed these, please keep in mind that your account will take several days to update.
Q2: I want to enroll in the University at Albany Payment Plan (UAPP), but the amount of anticipated financial aid reflected on my invoice is not what I expected. How can I calculate my monthly payment?
A2: If you believe the information on your invoice is incomplete, please refer to Q1 and A1 above. Once you have reviewed your on-line information and completed all items on your check list and your financial aid is reflected on your MyUAlbany account, you can calculate the out-of-pocket portion of your charges and your UAPP payment amount using the worksheet provided in Money Matters. The worksheet and full detailed information on UAPP is available at: http://www.albany.edu/studentaccounts/budget.shtml Please be sure to indicate your monthly payment amount on the portion of the invoice you return to us.
