SUNY Statement on Research Integrity
On March 19, 2013, the State University of New York Board of Trustees adopted a university-wide statement on research integrity. This statement and its 16 supporting principles reflect who the State University of New York and its member institutions are, and what they stand for in conducting ground-breaking, life-changing research. The Board’s action reflects its import.
With this stamp of approval, the State University of New York has a common and publicly disclosed code to carry forward and to pass on to others. This is a statement that must not simply exist; it must be practiced and utilized.
SUNY’s Statement on Research Integrity is posted on the homepage of the RF website. All University at Albany faculty, staff and students are encouraged to use it not only as a regular reference, but as a tool to educate others - making it part of their on-boarding, orientation and recruitment processes when welcoming new colleagues into the SUNY research family.
