UAlbany RNA Institute Given Valuable Molecule Collection
The RNA Institute of the University at Albany has received a gift, valued at $400,000, that will greatly enhance its ribonucleic acid-based research capabilities.Sigma-Aldrich, a St. Louis-based life science and high technology company, has given the center about 200,000 molecules of several types of small RNAs, some for humans and some for mice.

UAlbany School of Social Welfare, Upstate Consortium Collaborate to Support Veterans' Health
Professor Lynn Warner, will lead a consortium of upstate New York schools of social work to support behavioral health initiatives for veterans. The project is supported by a three-year, $480,253 competitive grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
