Assistant to the Dean of Graduate Studies
Florence Bolton has served in the Office of Graduate Studies since December of 2000. She is presently responsible for the maintenance of the University’s Graduate Bulletin and course catalog and lends staff support to the Graduate Academic Council’s Committee on Curriculum and Instruction. Overseeing the implementation of the Graduate Tuition Opportunity Program (GTOP) and the appointment of graduate assistants, teaching assistants and fellows for Academic Affairs also falls within her purview. Ms. Bolton has been with the University at Albany since September of 1989. She brings to the Office of Graduate Studies the knowledge and experience she acquired from positions held in the Office of Financial Management and Budget, Nelson A. Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy’s Provost Office and Office of Graduate Admissions. She earned her B.A. in Psychology in 1992 from the University at Albany.
